My love of painting and my obsession with my dogs have combined. I knew this would happen eventually. Throughout the years when I would feel a creative block, I would paint the horses I worked with, my dogs or my friends dogs..anything to keep painting. When my dog Buddha got sick last year, I decided to do his portrait so I would have his likeness with me forever. I just kept going from there.
I create these in my home studio in Altadena, CA, which I share with my four rescue dogs. I enjoy capturing the personality of each individual pet in order to create a unique and lasting work of art.
